IMF's 70th anniversary

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is an international organisation that works to foster global financial stability. The IMF is the premier worldwide forum for economic cooperation.

The establishment of the organisation was agreed upon 70 years ago at the Bretton Woods conference.

The current exhibition at the Bank of Finland Museum portrays the history of the IMF and its past and present activities. The exhibition also shows the importance of the IMF and the World Bank for Finland.

The exhibition ran from 14 October 2014 to 31 March 2015.
